Union, you already know the advantage of our no minimum
balance requirement. Make this checking account even better
with this overdraft protection loan option. With this option
you have the privilege to write yourself a loan anytime, anywhere.
Don't worry about carrying unnecessary cash. When your check
is presented to the credit union for payment and there are insufficient
funds in your checking account to cover the check, we'll advance
you a loan against your LeCheque® Mate overdraft protection
line (in multiples of $50.00) so your check will clear. We'll
cover the check up to your preapproved limit. Our LeCheque®
Mate overdraft protection is designed with you in mind:
- Credit
Limits from $500 to $5,000
- Automatic
payment option available
- Monthly
payments are 3% of the balance or $50, whichever is greater
- Advances
appear on your monthly checking account statement and payments
are due by the 25th of each month
